Day 1 : Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have meet and greet services on arrival at the airport or a pick up from your hotel at 8:00 am by our driver-guide. You will depart for Masai Mara via Great Rift Valley viewpoint and pass by Narok town to arrive Masai Mara in time for lunch followed by a late afternoon game drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge. Your meal plan includes lunch and dinner.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

The full day is spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. You will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five including lions, elephants, leopards, black rhinos, and buffalos. You will visit the Mara River which borders Kenya and Tanzania. You will have a chance to see hippos and very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for prey as wildebeests cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Each year Masai Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, the great wildebeest migration from Serengeti National Park, Tanzania to Masai Mara, Kenya. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life-giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Nairobi

You’ll have an early morning game drive at sunrise when predators are active with a morning hunt of big cats. You will have an opportunity to capture a lion making a kill as most of the time lions kill very early in the morning before sunrise. You will also experience the beauty of sunrise which reveals the backdrop of Masai Mara. Masai Mara means the dotted hills in the Maa language. Later, you will return to the lodge for the main breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart Masai Mara with the last picturesque of the Mara arriving in Nairobi late afternoon. You will be dropped off at either your hotel or the airport to connect with your home-bound flight depending on the arrangements where the safari ends. Meal plan: Breakfast.
